About us<\/strong><\/h3>

The jurisdiction of the Supreme Council includes all the territory over which the Republic of South Africa has as its Domain. The jurisdiction of the Supreme Council also includes those countries where it has established, or may hereafter establish, Bodies of the Rite, and over which countries no regular Supreme Council has acquired jurisdiction.<\/p>

The Supreme Council Statutes, the Regulations of 1762, the Grand Constitutions of 1786, together with the edicts and decisions of the Supreme Council, and the unwritten principles and Landmarks of Freemasonry constitute the law of The Order in the jurisdiction of this Supreme Council.<\/p>

Principles we uphold<\/p>

  1. The Supreme Council re-affirms its unswerving loyalty to the fundamental purpose of Freemasonry, which purpose from time immemorial has been to improve and strengthen the character of the individual, the character of the community, thus determining the community with those spiritual values which give it strength and stability.<\/li><\/ol>
    1. The Supreme Council believes that this purpose is to be attained by laying a broad basis of principle upon which men of every race, country, sect and operation may unite.<\/li><\/ol>
      1. Believing that good and true men can be trusted to act well and wisely, the Supreme Council considers it the duty of the Fraternity to impress upon its members the principles of personal righteousness and personal responsibility, to enlighten them as to those things which make for human welfare, and to inspire them with that feeling of charity, or well\u00ad wishing, towards all mankind which will move them to translate principle and conviction into action.<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
